I
created my first Web page in July 1995, back
in the early days of the World Wide Web. This version of my page
covers some of the subjects and hobbies that I'm interested in.
Lisa and I were married on October 20, 2007!
It was a small wedding with family and friends. We went to San Francisco for our honeymoon.
Say, didn't you use to work in Astronomy?
Astronomy has always been my passion. My dad bought me a small, 60mm refractor for my 9th birthday, and I ground and polished my first 6" telescope mirror when I was 13. It was a great experience!
I majored in Astronomy here at UCLA, starting in 1975. Few people get the opportunity to work in a field that they love, but I was lucky to work for the UCLA Astronomy Department from 1986 to 1997, and it was indeed a fantastic career. Why did I leave? well, that's a long story...
I currently work as a Programmer/Analyst in the Jules Stein Eye Institute.
